| We typically use Citrix Thin Client Technology meaning that it will run on even very low spec IBM and Apple Mac computers. You may access HeartSuite not only on your Local Area Network but remotely via VPN(Internet) or even modem connections. Data is held securely in a fully scalable SQL Server Database. HeartSuite is HIPAA compliant, has an NHS accreditation and features a full audit trail and multiple user definable security levels. |
| Interfacing |
| Interfacing with other systems and devices is key to an excellent clinical system and HeartSuite has a large number of existing interfaces to various systems from large hospital patient administration systems, document storage and PACS to medical equipment such as Catheter Laboratories using HL7, XML, ODBC and specific bespoke solutions where required. We have excellent relations with other key suppliers within the field such as GE and PedCath allowing uniquely seemless interfaces to be provided. We are also highly experienced in transferring data from your existing systems into HeartSuite allowing you to hit the ground running with your new HeartSuite system. |
| Remote Connections |
| Thin client technology allows access to HeartSuite from peripheral clinics or your home via NHS Net, ISDN or modem subject to your institutions local firewall security. The use of this technology means that even over a low bandwidth (slow) connection, HeartSuite continues to run quickly on your PC. |
| Reporting |
| The system uses a fully user configurable Query Generator which provides an easy means of performing complex queries extracting, comparing and analysing data for audit or research purposes. Data is stored in a standard Microsoft™ database format and thus can be exported to almost any other application as required such as SPSS, Access, Excel etc. In addition you may embed your custom Crystal Reports within the system. |
| Security |
| The system is protected by security screens and an automatic time-out function. There are multiple levels of security rating relating to every are of the system. These are defined for each user thus respecting patient confidentiality and ensuring data is secure. As well as preventing or allowing only read-only access for individual users to specific information, access times and days may also be set. A comprehensive Audit Trail can be locally defined to track all user movements within the system |
