HeartSuite is a constantly evolving, flexible system that allows all relevant data to be available to clinicians in the form of a virtual patient record. HeartSuite is a unique product in that it has been developed exclusively for the use in the care and management of congenital heart disease patients. This means that we are fully committed to the field and continue to develop and improve HeartSuite in the rapidly changing specialty within the UK.
It is used to manage the care of ACHD patients at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, the Western Infirmary in Glasgow, Bristol Royal Infirmary and Southampton General Hospital. In October 2006 the Adult Congenital Heart Disease service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham implemented HeartSuite. This unit was the second to be established in the UK and with over 2000 patients is one of the largest. HeartSuite has now been developed with a number of ACHD specific features and existing hardware has been used to greatly reduce the costs. Paediatric data is transferred seamlessly to adult care. |
